Unizif injection is an NSAIDs Anti-Inflammatories injection of Flunixin Group of Intas animal health company. It is used in cattle, buffalo, cows, calf, dogs, cats, pets, pigs, sheep and goats for Inflammation and pyrexia associated with Bovine Respiratory disease, Metritis, Endotoxemia, Acute bovine mastitis, Musculoskeletal disorders and Colic in horses. Flunixin veterinary dosage
Dosage:
- Cattle, Camel, Sheep and Goat: 1ml to 2m1 per 45 kg b.wt. by slow I/V or I/M route.
- Horse: 1ml per 45 kg b.wt. by slow I/V route or I/M route.
- Pigs: 1ml to 2ml per 45 kg b.wt. by S/C or slow I/V route.
Route: Intramuscular, Intravenous, Subcutaneous
Presentation: 20ml and 50ml Vials
Unizif injection side effects
Side effects are uncommon if used short-term and at lower doses. Side effects may include swelling at the injection site, muscle stiffness, or sweating. Serious side effects include stomach or intestinal upset characterized by vomiting, diarrhoea, lack of appetite, abnormal bleeding, fever, limb swelling, or muscle infection/damage after injection into the muscle.
