Maxxtol injection Dose
tolfenamic acid veterinary dosage
Dosage:
- Cattle and Buffalo: by I/M or I/V Route: 4 mg/kg b.wt. as a single dose or 2 mg/kg b.wt. to be repeated after 48 hrs.
- Sheep and Goat: By I/M or I/V Route: 2mg/kg b.wt. as a single dose.
- Pig: By I/M Route: 2mg/kg b.wt. as a single dose.
- Horse: By I/V Route: 2mg/kg b.wt as a single dose.
Route: Intramuscular, Intravenous
Presentation: 30ml and 100ml vials

There are relatively few side effects associated with tolfenamic acid. The most common side effects after oral administration are vomiting and diarrhoea.
