What is Excede injection?
Excede injection is a type of antibiotic which is a hybridization of ceftiofur (ceftiofur crystalline free acid). EXCEDE (ceftiofur crystalline free acid) Sterile Suspension is a ready-to-use, single-dose formulation that provides up to seven days of therapy for the treatment and control of bovine respiratory disease (BRD) and treatment of bovine foot rot.
These injections are used for the veterinary treatment of pneumonia, metritis, endometritis, and pyometra in cattle, horses, dogs and cats. These excede are safer than all antibiotics used in horses.
