Grow a THRIVING Strawberry Nursery!  (Quick Tips)

Want homegrown strawberries? Start with the RIGHT nursery setup! , Pick a sunny spot (6–8 hrs/day) with well-draining soil. Avoid frost pockets!

Slightly acidic soil (pH 5.5–6.5)! Mix in compost for nutrients + drainage.

Space plants 12–18” apart! Crowns MUST stay above soil to avoid rot.

Water deeply but avoid leaves! Mulch with straw to keep soil moist + berries clean.

Fight pests naturally! Use row covers or neem oil. Remove diseased plants FAST.

Harvest when fully red! Twist gently to protect the plant.

Trim runners & old leaves post-harvest! Fertilize yearly for BIGGER yields.
